About the event

While many experts are retained to provide evaluations for the court to assist in family law matters, there has been a dilution of the process such that many professionals have minimized the utility of psychological testing. This presentation will discuss the values of psychological testing, with particular attention to details that the evaluator would have great difficulty obtaining without the use of "surgical tools".

Topics covered will include validity measures, emotion regulation, data manipulation, personality disorders (including borderline, narcissistic and psychopathic tendencies), anger, trauma, and risk assessment. This information will be critical to consider in the context of parental capacity, child custody evaluations, consideration of reunification, and cases that cover several overlapping psychological complexities.

Please join Dr. Mitch Abrams of Abrams Psychological Services for this revealing workshop over the backdrop of pleasurable food and drink.

Register on this site or by check made out to Abrams Psychological Services, 620 Tinton Avenue, Building A, Suite 203 Tinton Falls, NJ 07724.
