RACHAEL FELSENFELD, PSY.D.
Dr. Rachael Felsenfeld received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Ithaca College and earned her Masters of Arts and Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from Illinois School of Professional Psychology/Chicago Campus. She has over 20 years of clinical and diagnostic experience, including specialized training in severe psychopathology, neuropsychology, and forensic psychology.
Dr. Felsenfeld worked as a psychologist for the Office of Mental Health in an outpatient clinic in Brooklyn, New York for many years. In this capacity she provided clinical services to the chronically mentally ill while maintaining a private practice in Brooklyn, New York. As a private practitioner, she provided psychotherapy and learning disability assessments.
Dr. Felsenfeld received training in forensic psychology and provides child custody evaluations in the states of New York and New Jersey. She has done disability assessments and specializes in neuropsychological evaluations of neurological disorders, including dementia, stroke, and traumatic brain injuries/concussions. She has an interest in doing sport concussion evaluations.
